Job Description
What We Are Looking For:
We’re seeking a proactive Senior Records Officer to join our Records Management Team at Alice Springs Town Council. In this key role, you’ll lead our records management function, ensure compliance with legislation, maintain digital systems, and provide expert advice across the organisation. If you’re detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and ready to take ownership of a critical service that supports Council operations, we’d love to hear from you!

Desired Skills and Experience
What You Will Bring:
You’re an experienced records management professional with strong technical skills and a passion for accuracy and compliance. You bring expertise in electronic document and records management systems (EDRMS), excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Your sound knowledge of legislation, advanced technical aptitude, and organisational skills make you a trusted advisor. With proven ability to supervise, collaborate, and deliver high-quality service, you’re ready to lead and support best practice across the organisation.
Must Have : Current National Criminal History Check, Current C - Class Drivers Licence to be able to drive in the NT.
