What We are Looking For:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Library Programs Coordinator who is passionate about literacy, lifelong learning and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong program coordination and leadership skills, the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, and a commitment to delivering inclusive, high-quality library programs aligned with ALIA guidelines and community expectations. You will bring excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills, support and guide staff involved in program delivery, and use evaluation and feedback to continuously improve services for the diverse Alice Springs community.

You bring proven experience leading teams to deliver innovative, customer‑focused services and events, backed by strong evaluation and continuous improvement. Highly organised and solutions‑driven, you manage competing priorities with ease, show initiative, and think creatively while working within budgets. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills allow you to connect authentically with diverse audiences, work effectively in cross‑cultural environments, and build strong partnerships. Tech‑savvy and adaptable, you embrace emerging technologies to enhance service delivery, and with relevant tertiary qualifications (or equivalent experience), you’re equally comfortable working independently or as part of a collaborative, high‑performing team—always contributing positively to an inclusive, dynamic library environment.
Must Have: Current National Criminal History Check, Working With Children check
