Job Description
What We Are Looking For:
We’re seeking a proactive and collaborative Policy and Governance Coordinator to support Council’s governance, policy and risk frameworks.
You’ll coordinate policy development and reviews, monitor compliance, identify risks, and provide clear advice across the organisation.
With strong communication and analytical skills, you’ll build relationships, support governance projects, and help strengthen transparency and accountability.
If you’re passionate about good governance and continuous improvement, we’d love to hear from you.
Applications are invited and will be considered until the position is successfully filled.
Desired Skills and Experience
What You Will Bring:
You’ll bring curiosity, professionalism and a collaborative spirit. You connect people and ideas, making governance simple, practical and accessible.
With strong writing, research and analytical skills, you’re confident working with detail while keeping an eye on the bigger picture. You communicate clearly, adapt to your audience, and build trust through respect and consistency.
You understand governance frameworks and legislation, but you’re equally skilled at guiding and supporting others to apply them. Above all, you value integrity, teamwork and continuous improvement — helping Council uphold high standards of transparency and accountability.
