This position is classified as a Level 8 Municipal Officer role and offers an attractive remuneration package, including district allowance, vehicle allowance ( either partial private use of fleet vehicle or annual allowance) and associated entitlements, as well as a skills shortage allowance—providing a highly competitive and rewarding opportunity for the right candidate.

What you will bring:
You will bring a strong track record in leading the delivery of complex, large-scale infrastructure programs, supported by sound knowledge of compliance, governance, and regulatory frameworks. As an experienced senior leader, you excel at driving high-performing teams, managing competing priorities, and delivering strategic outcomes. Your expertise in project management, procurement, and stakeholder engagement, combined with your strong communication and negotiation skills, enables you to confidently navigate challenges, mitigate risks, and deliver sustainable, high-quality results aligned with organisational goals.
Monday to Friday role with occasional out-of-hours work required.
Must have: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline of Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction or a relevant Trade Qualification or relevant experience; Current National Criminal History check (less than 6 months old); Current C class driver’s license to be able to drive in the NT; Current Working with Children clearance (Ochre Card).
Please note:Acurrent National Police Clearance, issued within the last six (6) months, is an essential requirement for this position.
