About the Opportunity

In this hands-on role, you’ll be the friendly face of our operations—delivering excellent customer service at the weighbridge and Rediscovery Centre, handling cash and operating point-of-sale systems with confidence. You’ll play a key part in giving recyclable goods a second life by helping collect, sort, display, and sell items at the Rediscovery Centre.

Your day-to-day will include inspecting and assessing loads, responding to customer enquiries, and ensuring accurate charging and record-keeping. You’ll also carry out equipment checks, report maintenance needs, and follow safe work procedures to keep everything running smoothly.

Working both independently and as part of a supportive team, you’ll uphold Council values, contribute to a respectful workplace, and help maintain a safe environment for all.
