Join Us as Our Next Digital Communications Officer!
Be at the heart of storytelling and community connection. Based in the Civic Centre and part of the Corporate Services Directorate, you’ll play a key role within our Marketing and Communications Unit. In this role, you will create engaging digital content that strengthens Council’s online presence, highlights important initiatives and services, and supports our strategic objectives. Your work will elevate our brand, enhance our reputation, and reflect the “Together for Alice” message — ensuring all communications are accessible, inclusive, and inspiring.

Creative flair & technical expertise – Proven ability to plan, design, and produce a diverse range of high-quality digital and print communications, applying design principles and creative techniques to deliver on organisational objectives.
Outstanding communication skills – Highly developed verbal and written abilities to craft clear, engaging content, as well as confidently negotiate and liaise with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve results.
Multimedia storytelling – Demonstrated skills in photography and videography, from capturing the moment to editing and coordinating compelling multimedia content.

Digital and design proficiency – Confident use of social media platforms and graphic design tools, with the adaptability to respond to changing priorities and emerging issues.
