Job Description
What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated leader to take charge of our Aquatic Centre, ensuring it operates safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. You will inspire and manage a dedicated team, oversee lifeguarding and pool operations, and maintain an exceptional environment for all patrons. With a strong focus on safety, water quality, and customer experience, you’ll lead by example, proactively addressing challenges and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. Your energy, organisational skills, and commitment to excellence will help create a welcoming, vibrant, and well-maintained facility that the community can enjoy with confidence.
This is a casual three-month contract position, with an anticipated commencement date of 1 December 2025.

What You Will Bring:
You’ll bring strong leadership and team management skills to inspire and guide a team of lifeguards, creating a safe and vibrant aquatic environment. With a natural ability to connect with facility users, you’ll deliver outstanding customer experiences, responding proactively to their needs and promoting aquatic safety with confidence. Your background in customer service within similar facilities, combined with your energy, professionalism, and commitment to excellence, will ensure the Centre is welcoming, well-managed, and trusted by the community.
Must have - Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard certificate or equivalent, Working with Children Clearance (Ochre card), Current Provide First Aid and CPR (minimum), Pool Operator Qualifications , and a Current national police check.
Please note: A current National Police Clearance, issued within the last six (6) months, is an essential requirement for this position. Applicants must obtain this at their own expense, as reimbursement will not be provided.
