The opportunity
We seek an energetic casual Labourer / Mower Operator to work as part of a team, undertaking labouring and general mowing duties related to areas of cleaning and litter removal and a range of horticultural activities, particularly oval mowing, turf maintenance, spraying, and slashing.
Your responsibilities will include carrying out a range of general labouring and mowing duties and undertaking a range of horticultural activities particularly mowing, whipper snipping, spraying, slashing, topdressing, scarifying, fertilizing and aerating turfed areas and identifying, removing and eradicating weeds, pests and diseases through the use of pesticides and herbicides.

What we would like you to bring to the team
- Ability to carry out a range of general labouring and mowing duties.
- Ability to undertake a range of horticultural and landscaping activities particularlymowing, spraying, slashing, top-dressing, scarifying, fertilizing and aerating turfedareas
- Ability to operate and maintain plant and equipment including tractor mower andattachments, spray rig and gang mower to a safe and competent standard, andidentify any necessary repairs
- Ability to work unsupervised following instructions and procedures, includingkeeping accurate daily work records and reporting any issues to Supervisor
- Be physically fit with the ability to work safely within OHS&W procedures in amanual environment
- Ability to demonstrate behaviours consistent with the ASTC Code of Conduct, cooperate with the general public and work as part of an effective, harmonious team
- Current C Class Licence to be able to drive in the Northern Territory
